Get To Know Photographer Jay Rivera Who Delivers Captivating Visuals
Embedded in the bike racing scene is what launched Jay Rivera’s career. From racing himself at 18 to eventually stepping down and documenting the scene and its evolution, the bicycle has always been by his side. After a near fatal cycling incident things started to spell differently for Jay. After a faithful recovery with 100% mobility Jay sought out his new passion and ventured in that direction.
Ever since he stepped down and began his documentation he hadn’t realized he had a new ally by his side, his camera. After the accident Jay gained a new perspective and began what we know now as Studio Stupendous. Prior to the studio opening Jay had spent his time shooting editorial work for magazines in the living room of his LA apartment. One day in downtown he had scoped the area for an available commercial property. Soon enough it became the home of Studio Stupendous now.
The studio is a safe-haven for creatives, an opportunistic place for flexing the creative muscle as well as sharing and learning from one another. The place operates as a photo/video studio from 6am to 6pm and as an event space after hours from 6pm onward.
Jay Rivera is very proud with the work he’s put in and the effort it’s taken to get Studio Stupendous to where it’s at. With collaborations underway with the Santee Art Gala, and a crossover with Studio 101. We hope to see what’s more in store with Jay and his future endeavors.
