Hollywould: ‘Stranger Things,’ ‘The Batman,’ and ‘Evil Dead’
The film and television business moves at a mile a minute, so keeping up with the latest news can be a little daunting. Not to worry—we have your back. In Hollywould, we’ll round up the industry developments you need to know. Here’s what you may have missed:

The Batman
Robert Pattinson told The New York Times that his Batman is “not a hero”:
“Batman’s not a hero, though. He’s a complicated character. I don’t think I could ever play a real hero — there’s always got to be something a little bit wrong. I think it’s because one of my eyes is smaller than the other one.”
“I love the director, Matt Reeves, and it’s a dope character. His morality is a little bit off. He’s not the golden boy, unlike almost every other comic-book character. There is a simplicity to his worldview, but where it sits is strange, which allows you to have more scope with the character.”
Evil Dead
According to Bloody Disgusting, Bruce Campbell told attendees of the ‘Rock and Shock’ convention that Sam Raimi has chosen someone to continue the series:
“It’s okay to pass it along to another idiot to try and stop evil from destroying the world. One idiot tried – he did pretty good. It’s time to let other innocent people with no skills try to save the world. And there’s more stories to tell. So we think we have a cool premise. We have a new filmmaker that Sam Raimi has hand chosen. So he’s very involved in it. Will be involved in the story. And we’ll try and make sure the actors don’t completely suck. And then we’re gonna make another one, yeah. There’s lots of stories…creepy books…lots of people to torment.”
Cowboy Bebop
John Cho has been injured in a “freak accident” on set, according to Deadline. Production will halt for as long as nine months.
The Suicide Squad
Set photos reveal colorful costumes and wild character choices from James Gunn’s new take on the franchise (Nathan Fillion as Arm-Fall-Off Boy?! Count me in):

Pinocchio
Variety reports that Robert Zemeckis is in early talks to helm Disney’s live-action remake of Pinocchio.
Maniac Cop
Nicolas Winding Refn took to Twitter to hype up his “cocaine-fueled, neon-soaked” project:
