Hollywould: ‘The Invisible Man,’ ‘The Hunt,’ and ‘Ghostbusters’
The film and television business moves at a mile a minute, so keeping up with the latest news can be a little daunting. Not to worry—we have your back. In Hollywould, we’ll round up the industry developments you need to know. Here’s what you may have missed:
The Invisible Man
Universal’s reworking a “Dark Universe” project, but they’re swapping stars: Variety reports that Elizabeth Moss is in talks to play the lead in Universal and Blumhouse’s remake of The Invisible Man. She’d be replacing Johnny Depp, who no one likes anymore.
Zanbato
Guillermo del Toro’s at work on a project for J.J. Abrams, according to Collider. The film focused on “a young girl (between 10-15) with lethal fighting skills,” but del Toro took to Twitter to clarify a crucial point: she isn’t a ninja.
BTW- NOT a Ninja project.

Bond 25
Collider has word that Rami Malek is in talks to play the villain of the next James Bond film. On the other side of the coin, Lupita Nyong’o’s representatives shot down rumors that she’d be the next “Bond Girl.”
The Hunt
Josh Radnor has joined Jordan Peele’s The Hunt, according to Deadline. He’ll be “Lonny Flash, a movie star who’s secretly a member of Meyer’s ([Al] Pacino) organization.” Lena Olin, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Tiffany Boone, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Greg Austin, and Dylan Baker also star.
Edge of Tomorrow Sequel
Per The Hollywood Reporter, a sequel to the underrated Edge of Tomorrow could be in the works—Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, and director Doug Liman are all on board, but it hinges on a script from Matthew Robinson, who is best known for The Invention of Lying (okay) and Monster Trucks (no thanks).
Ghostbusters 3
Stranger Things‘ Finn Wolfhard and The Leftovers‘ Carrie Coon have both been tapped to star in Jason Reitman’s upcoming Ghostbusters sequel. “The studio would not comment on plot details, but sources say the story will focus on a single mom and her family, with Coon playing the mom and Wolfhard playing her son.” Speculation says they’ll start as clients of the original team.
