The Stand
Two key roles have been cast for the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand. The miniseries will now feature Whoopi Goldberg as Mother Abigail and Alexander Skarsgård as the villainous Randall Flagg.
The Suicide Squad
Finally, the full cast for James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad has been revealed:

The Umbrella Academy
According to AV Club, the second season of The Umbrella Academy has added three new faces: Ritu Arya (Humans) plays Lila, “a chameleon who can be as briliiant or as clinically insane as the situation requires” who has a “twisted sense of humor;” Yusuf Gatewood (Good Omens) joins as Raymond, “a born leader with the smarts, gravitas, and the confidence to never have to prove it to anyone;” and rounding out the three is Marin Ireland (the upcoming Y: The Last Man) who is signed on as Sissy, a “no-nonsense Texas mom who married young for all the wrong reasons” who is “eager to rediscover what life and love has to offer.”
Thor: Love and Thunder
Speaking with MTV News, Taika Waititi made it known that Chris Hemsworth’s Thor is still the lead of Thor: Love and Thunder.

Tank Girl
Alan Martin, co-creator of indie comics hit Tank Girl, Tweeted news that Margot Robbie’s optioned the rights to make a new film.
Just heard that Margot Robbie's company have optioned rights from MGM to make a new Tank Girl movie – now several months into development. Reportedly, the project already has a director: Miles Joris-Peyrafitte; he worked with Robbie on Dreamland.
