During his recent interview with Atlanta-based Diverse Mentality Podcast, Kidd Kidd spoke to podcast hosts Quake and Vito about several of the milestones of his journey including being recruited for Young Money along with Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga, becoming at odds with 50 Cent, forming Squad Up, nearly signing a deal with JAY-Z and more.
The massive two-hour plus interview truly captures the full scope of Kidd Kidd career in never-before-seen fashion as the former Gudda Gudda and Bobby Valentino collaborator discusses the highs and lows of his life including the near-fatal shooting, which left him wounded by six shots and occurred right after he initially met 50 Cent in 2011.
Kidd Kidd actually remarks on what it was like the first time he met 50 Cent during the interview, remarking on how he realized how well-connected the New York MC was in the streets despite his celebrity status.
Yet another interesting angle of the interview focuses on how Kidd Kidd stepped in as the fifth member of G-Unit upon the departure of The Game from the rap collective due to the issues he had with 50 Cent.
