N’Shai Iman Takes Listeners On A Journey With Latest Project, “Love Ain’t Thrill”

After a steady stream of singles throughout 2022, N’Shai Iman is continuing to apply pressure with her project Love Ain’t Thrill, her second tape in as many years. The Detroit native has an introspective mindset about love and all of the emotions, experiences, and ups and downs that relationships bring.
Love Ain’t Thrill takes you on a journey from love to heartbreak,” said N’Shai Iman. “It breaks down how love is not just about lust and thrill, and how love takes time.”
For the project, Iman sought production from prolific beatmakers 8een, Yogic Beats, and Hoodrixh. She has several features spread throughout the album to give her sultry R&B sound some fantastic twists while keeping the overall vibe of the album. The intro track “Butterflies” sets the tone with a woozy synth over a downtempo beat, and “Hold the Phone” provides the album with a slightly more upbeat cut and incredible layered vocals. Fellow R&B crooner Mannikin lends his voice on “Test Drive”, and the album closer “Move On” is a bouncy track that Smino would certainly approve of.
“Love is beautiful but it can have its ugly phases,” explained Iman. “At the end of the day, it’s all how they make you feel within the relationship.”
As for her next moves, N’Shai Iman has music videos and more live performances on her mind for 2023. If you are a fan of smooth R&B music and are looking for an up and coming artist to support, N’Shai Iman is your answer.
