Flume & Vera Blue – “Rushing Back”
Flume’s latest single has the same feeling as his fan’s favorite hits from the past several years with its high-pitched synths and crafty distortions. Vera Blue packs the track with her unique tones, as Flume takes us on another melodic journey on “Rushing Back.”
H.E.R. & YG – “Slide”
H.E.R. and YG are giving us sly and sultry on their collaborative release, “Slide.” This track fits perfectly into the repertoire of H.E.R., as well as keeps tempo with her naturally cool vibe. Then, you have YG throwing his verses in, making this a definite favorite of the week.
Diplo & Jonas Brothers – “Lonely”
Diplo and the Jonas Brothers together!? I just cannot help myself from loving every second of this catchy bop. The Jonas Brothers and Diplo are having one of their biggest years yet, so it only made sense that this collaboration surfaced. “Lonely” could easily be a track from the Jonas Brothers’ album, Happiness Begins, and with Diplo’s tropical synths, this one is just bound to get stuck in your head all day long.
NOTD & Daya – “Wanted”
NOTD and Daya are a perfect electropop combo on their new song, “Wanted.” Daya has become a coveted voice in dance music, and she continues to impress on every track she hops on. NOTD continues to create synths that ebb and flow with ease, and like Daya, is another artist that is rising to the top of dance music.
Zedd & Kehlani – “Good Thing”
This first time collaboration between Kehlani and Zedd was teased for a week before the release of “Good Thing.” Kehlani treats us to empowering lyrics about being good all by yourself, while Zedd delivers a bouncy beat—making this collab catchy as ever.
Kito & Empress Of – “Wild Girl”
Kito and Empress Of are bringing every ounce of indie pop for their release of “Wild Girl.” This track is electric and will have anyone grooving along to the completely enticing vocals from Empress Of. Tove Lo and Robyn fans will absolutely be loving this one.
DJ Snake & Majid Jordan (Mercer Remix) – “Recognize”
Mercer is giving DJ Snake and Majid Jordan’s recent track, “Recognize,” a little extra flavor on his remix. Mercer revamps the already upbeat track from Snake by adding new layers and synths, making it an even more lighthearted and colorful indie house track. This is four minutes of just pure house bliss.
Boys Noize & Francis and the Lights – “Why Not?”
Boys Noize has been dipping his toes in many different elixirs of music, and his recent collab with Francis and the Lights is a true gem in the midst of his musical catalog. “Why Not” is a disco-inspired vibe that is the perfect tune to cruise along to.
